A large part of me died with the news of her passing...Sandy was my life during the 1957 - 1966 time period. Vibrant, smart, loving, funny and forever the optimist. She was the most wonderful young woman.
Sandy and I dated (hung out together, actually) from the winter of 1959 until she moved to Farmington Hills. We ice skated together at Ten Eyck and/or watched TV together at her parent's house and went to a few movies once I got my driver's license. She really was the sweetest girl. She was always cheery and so easy to hang out with.

A free spirit, that was Sandy. A wonderful friend.
