Karen gave the "Salutatorian" speech at our High School graduation ceremony. She chose as her theme of the speech "SAYONARA". It was an excellent speech with a clever premise and a skilled delivery. She said something to the effect that while sayonara in Japanese does mean "good-bye", the word actually translates more accurately as "good-bye for now". So our "good-byes" as we left Edsel Ford were but temporary.
