So very sorry to hear of the lost of Dennis. I have fond memories of many hours of conversation during practices in football and track. He was a real gentleman even in the heat of competition. A real team player and we did win some exciting track hurdling events.
My prayers go out to his wife “Joey” as we grew up together on the same street. Those were the days when your dad could pull you down the street on a rope while tired to the bumper of his car and you rode on your sled in the winter.
Dennis was a true gentle man in every way. He was a good friend who would look you in the eye as you spoke because he was really listening. I used to love to make him laugh which was actually pretty easy. He was an easy laugher. It was wonderful to see him (and looking great) at the reuinion.
My heart goes out to his beautiful wife and his family.
I met Dennis in Jr. Hiigh ( O.L. Smoth ) & our friendship continued thru High School, continutuned thru Graduation. Singing at Flix's house - graduation party. Always a Gentlemen,.Even though we have not kept in touch,. His passing has really set me me " back on my heels" I will miss him & realise we all need to stay in touch. " You don't know whats missing till its gone" Rest in Peace Dennis.
