Larry & I were childhood neighbors - 4-5 doors away accross Notre Dame from each other. Played kids games & went to Long School & then O.L. Smith together, both playing, Trombone & battled many times for 1st chair, I think Larry came out the better Horn player. After going to Edsel Ford we drifted apart joining a new circle of schoolmates. One memory is of our street racing - He is his Volvo vs me in my mother's 53 Ford sedan. I awlays confused him, because I had put a different air clean on the carb, which had a hugh sound when accerating.

He was a great guy. We reacquainted when he was living in my hometown, San Antonio, TX in the 90's
it was great fun having a classmate to share old memories, in fact we went to our 30th class reunion
together, had a blast....he had a big heart filled withj kindness. Rest in Peace , my friend!!!!, Louise Norris

Larry and I were Facebook friends. I enjoyed his tales of travel and love of his family. I will miss our chats. May he rest in peace.
