Jim and I became real close friends, especially after graduation.  We confided in one another about many things, girls, cars, girls and more cars and more girls, you get the idea.  Jim was like a brother to me during those years.  When my aunt died, he was right there, handled whatever needed to be done.  When I joined the Army he kept me up to date with what was going on at home.  He was a regular visitor at our house keeping Mom and Dad company.   When I opend my gas station, he was there with advise.  When I got married, Jim was there for me.  When my oldest son was born, Jim was there.  When Toni and I bought our first house, he was there to help us move in.  Jim was my Star, I didn,t always see him but I knew he was there for me when I needed help.  I will truly miss him.  So long buddy.

Jim's email recipes were a welcome site.  His passion for food bonded with me since that passion is shared.  He loved what he did and shared that with us all.  I always open my e-mail expecting that next recipe!
